An adult is a human being or any other animal that has reached full growth.The biological definition of the term refers to an animal reaching sexual maturity, which makes it capable of reproduction. Adults are social concepts and a legal one in the human world. Contrary to those who are who is not considered to be an adult or "minor" legally adult has reached majority making them self-sufficient as well as responsible and competent.
